Description
The sans-I/O QUIC connection and endpoint, ported from quinn-proto: the
Connection state machine (handshake, packet assembly and
processing, key updates, closing and draining), the Endpoint that routes datagrams and answers with Version
Negotiation, Retry and stateless resets, their configurations (TransportConfig, ServerConfig, ClientConfig, EndpointConfig), and the building blocks they are made of:
range sets (RangeSet), reassembly of received data
(Assembler), buffering of sent data (SendBuffer), streams and flow control (StreamsState), packet number spaces and ACK generation
(PacketSpace), loss detection (Recovery), pacing (Pacer), path MTU discovery (MtuDiscovery) and timers (TimerTable).-
Uses of SpaceId in io.github.mahmoudimus.quic.connection
Methods in io.github.mahmoudimus.quic.connection that return SpaceIdModifier and TypeMethodDescriptionPacketSpace.id()Which space this is.static SpaceIdSpaceId.of(EncryptionLevel level) The space of an encryption level.static SpaceIdReturns the enum constant of this class with the specified name.static SpaceId[]SpaceId.values()Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared. Methods in io.github.mahmoudimus.quic.connection with parameters of type SpaceIdModifier and TypeMethodDescriptionvoidRejects an ACK of the skipped packet number.voidRecovery.discardSpace(long now, SpaceId id) Discards the Initial or Handshake space once its keys are no longer needed (RFC 9001 section 4.9, RFC 9002 section 6.4): its keys, sent packets and in-flight bytes are dropped, and the PTO backoff restarts.longRecovery.nextPacketNumber(SpaceId id) Allocates the next packet number of a space; the application data space occasionally skips one (seePacketNumberFilter).booleanRecords an acknowledged packet.voidRecovery.onAckReceived(long now, SpaceId id, Frame.Ack ack, Recovery.Listener listener) Processes an ACK frame (RFC 9002 section 6 and appendix A.7): acknowledges packets, takes an RTT sample, detects loss, validates ECN counts and rearms the loss detection timer.voidRecovery.onAcksSent(SpaceId id) Records that an ACK frame was sent in a space.default voidRecovery.Listener.onPacketAcked(SpaceId space, long packetNumber, SentPacket packet) A packet was acknowledged.default voidRecovery.Listener.onPacketLost(SpaceId space, long packetNumber, SentPacket packet) A packet was deemed lost.booleanRecovery.onPacketReceived(long now, SpaceId id, long packetNumber, boolean ackEliciting) Records an authenticated packet: duplicate detection, ACK bookkeeping, and theTimer.MAX_ACK_DELAYtimer in the application data space.voidRecovery.onPacketSent(long now, SpaceId id, long packetNumber, SentPacket packet) Records a sent packet: in-flight counts, the time of the last ack-eliciting packet, pacing, and the loss detection timer.longRecovery.peekPacketNumber(SpaceId id) The packet numberRecovery.nextPacketNumber(io.github.mahmoudimus.quic.connection.SpaceId)would allocate.longThe probe timeout of a space, without backoff:smoothed_rtt + max(4 * rttvar, kGranularity), plus the peer'smax_ack_delayin the application data space.voidRecovery.resetIdleTimer(long now, SpaceId id, long idleTimeout) RestartsTimer.IDLE: the idle timeout, but at least three PTOs (RFC 9000 section 10.1).voidRecovery.setKeyDiscardTimer(long start, SpaceId id) SetsTimer.KEY_DISCARDto three PTOs after a start time, when old keys may go (RFC 9001 sections 4.9.3 and 6.5).A packet number space.Constructors in io.github.mahmoudimus.quic.connection with parameters of type SpaceId
